On Wednesday, May 9, Jamesville-DeWitt High School freshman Austin Bacola’s 1994 dirt bike was stolen from his house in Jamesville. Bacola says he was not home when it happened. The police have been informed but, “they told me they probably won’t be able to find it,” said Bacola.

The dirt bike is very important to Bacola because he says it was given to him by his father who now lives in Florida. “We don’t really get to talk much,” he said. Friends and family of Bacola agree the dirt bike “shouldn’t have been stolen.” “That really sucks, I feel so bad for him,” said Bacola’s friend, freshman Dylan Volk.

If anyone has any details on the theft, please inform Bacola. His phone number is posted below. “I’d be the happiest kid in the world if someone returned it to me,” he said.
