Varsity Girls Lacrosse
The Red Rams had a great regular season, finishing with a record of 16-0. They were lead into sectionals by seniors Liz Beville, Ashriel West, Tara Prosak and Le Moyne College-bound Tori Nies. They made it into the semifinals of the Section III tournament but were thwarted by a tough Marcellus team. The future is bright with players like sophomore Taylor Bierwagon, and juniors Ally Loewy and Taryn Dausman returing.

Varsity Boys Lacrosse
The team has enjoyed an extremely successful season this year and finished with an undefeated regular season. Led by seniors Cam Stone, Eric Dejohn and Mac Feiner, and juniors Dan Distefano, Alex Hatem, and Nick Firman, the team won the Section III Class B tournament and advanced to the state tournament. Against the tougher competition, the team is sure to miss junior Davi Sacco and senior Jake Bratek, who are both out with injuries. The team played against Corning West on June 6 at Union-Endicott High School.

Varsity Girls Track
It was no surprise that the girls’ team won leagues, sectionals and some qualified for states. Senior distance runner Eileen Cody said, “The highlight of my season was winning sectionals and leagues as a team.” She also said that there have been many improvements on the team and many school records broken this season. Senior Marae Tearney and sophomore Maggie Fuller made it to the state meet which is this weekend.

Varsity Girls Golf
The girls golf team had an extremely successful season this year. Juniors Kara Capstraw and Lindsey Sherling, and senior Shea Turney, led the Red Rams deep into the Section III tournament. Capstraw is advancing on to the State Tournament

Varsity Boys Tennis
Although the team had only two Seniors, Devan Ramachandran and Dennis Zhou, the Boys went 13-0 in their league games. Junior Reed Tso and sophomore Erik Davis were also key contributors to the team. The team has a bright future, with only two seniors leaving and talented freshmen like Jack Alexander and Abe Davis.

Varsity Boys Track: Led by seniors Bumkoth Jiak, David Salbert, and Max Smith, the Red Rams won the Section III Class B Championship meet. Their fleet feet dusted the competition and many school records were broken. Next year, the team will be led by juniors Austin Davis and Danny Driscoll.

Varsity Girls Softball
The softball team had a record of 10-4 with a disappointing end to the season, a loss to powerhouse Oneida in the sectional championship on Monday, June 7 with a score of 6-1. Senior Sarah Gianni said, “We were better than we thought we would be. At first (the games) were rough then we got into the swing of things.” Gianni said her most memorable moment was senior night because “it was great, everything they did for us.”

Varsity Boys Baseball
The Boys’ Varsity Baseball team enjoyed a successful regular season, but lost in the first round of sectionals. The team was led by seniors Jamie Shibley and Kenny Schunk. Next year, the team will be led by junior fireballer Justin Marzella.
